September 5, 2011 - The St. Louis Spirit have announced their campaign for 2012. "BE WELL!" This campaign will be a cooperative effort to collaborate with area organizations to promote health and wellness throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area. This will includes all areas of health and wellness including mental health, cancer research and prevention, fitness and much more. Stay tuned for more information about this campaign and until then, Catch the Spirit & BE WELL!

August 15, 2011 - The Board of Directors of the GMFL have elected Spirit Head Coach Damon Cannon to the GMFL Hall of Fame. Coach Cannon will be inducted on Friday, September 16th at the 5th Annual Great Midwest Football League Awards Banquet. Coach Cannon will also participate in the ceremonial coin toss during the 2011 GMFL Championship Game. Congrats to our own Coach Cannon and the entire Spirit Family.

May 21, 2011 – Spirit met with the Evansville Enforcers to celebrate Armed Forces Day. The Evansville Enforcers came out on top with a 14 to 8 victory over the Spirit, but overall, the United States Armed Forces came out on top as they were recognized in a balloon launch initiated by the St. Louis Spirit Partnership Association. Balloons were launched in honor of our troops with donation cards attached for recipients to donate to Operation Homefront—the charity of the day. The game was a good preview to what should be a very competitive regular season battle. The Spirit will face the Enforcers again on June 18, 2011 at St. Charles High School, St. Charles, MO. Kickoff at 6:30 p.m.

May 14, 2011 - Spirit meet up with the new look Chicago Cowboys in a rematch of the 2010 Season Finale. This time the Spirit come out on top with a thrilling 8-0 victory. The game was full of highlights including a touchdown saving tackle and forced fumble by #6 Anthony Smith recovered by #10 Matthew Caves. The Spirit was led by a dominant performance of the defense which set up both scores with a Safety and a forced fumble deep in Chicago territory initated by rookie DE #11 Brian Jones. The Spirit offense also controlled the ball with a steady dose of the running game led by RBs #22 Dominique Moore and #9 Ricky Robinson as well as a host of other Spirit ball carriers. Watch for game statistics, and catch the Spirit at next week's event on Saturday, May 21st at 3pm as they face the Evansville Encforcers.

March 22, 2011 - Spirit enter into partnership with OPERATION HOMEFRONT-MISSOURI for the 2011 Season. The kickoff to the OPERATION HOMEFRONT campaign will be the 2011 Armed Forces Day Celebration on Saturday, May 21st at Larimore Park in Spanish Lake, MO
